INTRODUCTION

• The Waterproof RJ45 Connector to 2x5 Unshrouded Male Right Angled Pin Header provides IP68 rated dust and water protection in harsh environments. The connector features an RJ45 jack for CAT5e/6 cable connection, and a 2x5 Right Angled Unshrouded Pin Header.
• The case side connector mounts to a panel or enclosure, and pairs with the RJ45-5EWTP-CB Cable Gland for waterproof connection. 
• Female RJ45 pass-thru receptacle for use with an Ethernet patch cord.
• Two-by-five pin structure.
• Pitch: 2mm
• Ideal for harsh industrial environments such as factory automation or outdoor installations where cable needs to be run from a dry location to a wet one.
• Circular threaded coupling mounts case side to connect with cable side connector.
• 13/16” – 28 UN (Unified Screw Thread) threading.
• O-rings provide IP68-rated water and dust protection.
• Can be mounted to a maximum panel thickness of 4.0mm.
• 50 micron gold plated RJ45 contacts for corrosion resistance.
• Number of positions: 10
• Eight pins for connection to eight cable wires. Two additional pins for optional shielded connection.
• Male unshrouded pins require pcb board mount, wire solder, or pair with female pin headers.  
• To achieve waterproof/IP68 protection, the outside RJ45 connection must be sealed with either a case side waterproof cap or a connected cable with waterproof cable gland.
• Requires RJ45-5EWTP-CB for complete waterproof connection.
• Use RJ45-5EWTP-CAPT or CAP-WTP-HD-CST to protect the connector when not in use.
